He understands the importance of relationship building to achieve high level performance, drive quality improvement and to improve experience at every level of the organization.

As a Healthcare Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Regional Director, John has worked across Canada at all levels. In addition to his experience in Asia Pacific and Europe, he has managed portfolios in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario. Most recently, he was COO of Revera Inc, one the largest chains of senior living communities in Canada. 

 John has held Board positions in 3 private companies and two not-for-profit associations, developing deep experience in building relationships in the boardroom and across senior management teams to improve organizational efficiency and drive growth. 

John studied at Hatfield Polytechnic/Herts University in England and continued his learning at The Open University. John is a qualified Long Term Care Administrator in Ontario through the OLTCA and holds a certificate through HarvardX in Practical Improvement Science in Health Care, as well as numerous certificates in media relations, leadership, coaching, training and sales.

John has devoted his healthcare & business leadership career to continuous learning, sharing his skills and experiences with teams and organizations. He is a passionate public speaker and trainer, and is now proud to lead Aspen Management Solutions - bringing together a network of highly skilled professionals to support the Canadian healthcare sector.
